Sales Administrative Assistant

Lekiu Distributors is one of the well-known wholesalers for ethnic and Asian food consumer packaged goods in Canada. Rich in history, the company was founded in 1946 and has grown tremendously. We sell to over 1,000 retailers and have great relationships with our suppliers and customers. Lekiu is poised to grow even more for the foreseeable future. We are in a need of a Sales Administrative Assistant to join the Lekiu team.


  • Process customers’ purchase orders
  • Provide sales administrative support to sales staff, relying heavily on computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Prepare product information and selling prices in customers’ specified forms and in retailers’ portals
  • Review customers’ debit memos to match with sales promotion
  • Organize, prepare and/or upload documents for new listings
  • Answer the requests of market information and sales data from principals
  • Continue to update the product information as per customers’ requests
  • Maintain office filing system and retrieve material from files as requested
  • Reception duties / relief
  • Ad hoc tasks
Skills and Experiences

  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work in group settings as well as working independently with energetic and positive attitude
  • Carry responsibility to complete assignments in a timely fashion
  • Adaptability to promotional changes and new challenges
  • Self-motivated, friendly, customer focused, punctual, courteous and reliable
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Fluent English. Knowledge in Cantonese / Mandarin is an asset
